In occasione della settimana del “Code Week” la classe III A del plesso di Pianette dell’I.C. Montalto Uffugo Taverna-Scalo ha avviato un lavoro sul pensiero computazionale relativo all’utilizzo di un oggetto di uso quotidiano: la caffettiera.
I bambini e le bambine hanno osservato, riconosciuto e denominato le diverse componenti di essa.
Successivamente, hanno ricomposto la macchinetta, posizionando in ordine corretto le diverse parti.
In seguito, a piccoli gruppi, hanno discusso e creato l’algoritmo sul funzionamento della caffettiera. Per la realizzazione dell’algoritmo è stato utilizzato un diagramma di flusso.
Il lavoro si è concluso con la realizzazione di un compito autentico: il caffè fatto da me a casa.

In our CodeWeek event “STEAM codes: from letters to flags”, children will learn the basics of coding through creative and interactive activities. They will code the letters of the “STEAM with games” project name and various national flags using colors, symbols, or other coding methods. This activity will help develop logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a better understanding of how information can be encoded. It will also encourage them to explore European countries and their cultures. Working in teams, children will share ideas and discover that coding can be fun and easily understandable—even without a computer!
