As part of World Space Week 2024 with the theme: "Space and Climate Change", which

emphasizes the critical role of space exploration and technology in understanding and

addressing the challenges posed by climate change, the following activities will be

implemented:

1) On a tabletop robotic track we will place images of different parts of the Earth (images of

forests, oceans, ice, atmosphere, etc.). The children are asked to program the satellite robot

(Beebot) to pass by these points to measure and collect data which will be sent to Esa (end).

2) Children are asked to draw on a worksheet the boxes (pixels) according to the

numerical/colour code given (each number corresponds to a colour) and reveal the secret

picture (Pixel Art)

Στο πλαίσιο της World Space Week 2024 με θέμα: « Διάστημα και Κλιματική Αλλαγή», που δίνει

έμφαση στον κρίσιμο ρόλο της εξερεύνησης του διαστήματος και της τεχνολογίας στην

κατανόηση και την αντιμετώπιση των προκλήσεων που θέτει η κλιματική αλλαγή, θα

υλοποιηθούν οι παρακάτω δραστηριότητες:

1) Σε επιτραπέζια ρομποτική πίστα τοποθετούμε εικόνες από διάφορα σημεία της Γης

(εικόνες από δάση, ωκεανούς, πάγους, ατμόσφαιρα κλπ.). Τα παιδιά καλούνται να

προγραμματίσουν το ρομπότ- δορυφόρο (Beebot) έτσι ώστε να περάσει από τα σημεία

αυτά για να μετρήσει και να συλλέξει δεδομένα τα οποία θα τα στείλει στην Esa (τέλος).

2) Τα παιδιά καλούνται να ζωγραφίσουν σε φύλλο εργασίας τα κουτάκια (pixels) σύμφωνα

με τον αριθμητικό/χρωματικό κώδικα που τους δίνεται (κάθε αριθμός αντιστοιχεί σε ένα

χρώμα) και να αποκαλύψουν τη μυστική εικόνα (Pixel Art)
