Organized by Malatya Provincial Directorate of National Education (YEĞİTEK STEM Coordination), İnönü University Faculty of Education, and Arslantepe Excavation Directorate; this activity enables female students to digitize 5,600-year-old seal impressions from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Arslantepe using 3D CAD software and bring them to life with 3D printers in MoNE Innovative Classrooms. "Girls Go Arslantepe" is an interdisciplinary Archeo-STEM and coding experience that bridges cultural heritage with digital technologies. The project originates from the fact that over 5,600-year-old archaeological seal finds at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Arslantepe Mound exist primarily as 2D floor impressions. By transforming these 2D historical seal designs into 3D physical models, the project aims to enhance young female students' digital skills and foster gender inclusion in STEM fields. Archeo-STEM & Inspiration Webinar: Online interactive session with Head of Excavation Prof. Dr. Francesca Balossi Restelli to explore historical heritage and female leadership in archaeology. Field Exploration: On-site visit to Arslantepe Mound to perform geometric, symmetrical, and contextual analysis of 2D seal impressions. 2D to 3D Vector Design: Digitizing seal motifs using vector graphics software (Inkscape/Illustrator) into SVG/DXF formats. 3D CAD Modeling & Printing in Innovative Classrooms: Converting vector designs into 3D CAD models using Tinkercad/Fusion360 and 3D printing physical seals using wood/stone-textured filaments, followed by surface finishing techniques. Continuous Mentorship Ecosystem: 3-tier guidance connecting field, classroom, and university campus, led by İnönü University Faculty of Education academics, Malatya Scientix Ambassadors, STEM Trainers, and local school teachers. Target Audience: Female students and teachers from Vocational High Schools (MTAL), Anatolian High Schools, and Girls' Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools. Key Learning Outcomes: 3D Design & CAD Competencies, Algorithmic & Spatial Thinking, Digitalization of Cultural Heritage, and Interaction with Female Role Models in STEM and ICT.
