Bu etkinlik, Hatay Fen Lisesi FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) Takımı Antioch Rising #10947 öğrencileri tarafından, bölgemizde deprem sonrası imkânları kısıtlı olan ve bünyesinde bilişim teknolojileri öğretmeni bulunmayan ortaokullardaki öğrencilere yönelik kurgulanmıştır.

Çalışmamız, hem doğrudan ortaokullara yapılan mobil atölye ziyaretlerini hem de ortaokul öğrencilerinin okulumuz bünyesindeki Bilişim Atölyesi'nde misafir edildiği etkileşimli buluşmaları kapsar. Çoğunluğunu kız öğrencilerin oluşturduğu robotik takımımız, "Farklı Yaş Grupları Arası Akran Mentorluğu" (Cross-Age Peer Mentoring) modeliyle öğrencilere rehberlik ederek her iki cinsiyetten çocuğun teknoloji alanına eşit katılımını desteklemektedir.

Organized by the Hatay Science High School FIRST Robotics Competition Team Antioch Rising #10947, this workshop series is designed for middle school students in post-earthquake local schools that lack ICT teachers and educational resources.

The project combines mobile school visits with hosting middle school students in the fully-equipped Computer & Robotics Lab at Hatay Science High School. Composed mostly of female students, our high school robotics team acts as relatable role models through a "Cross-Age Peer Mentoring" model, supporting equal participation and engagement for students of all genders in technology.

Utilizing both portable kits in visited schools and our high school's lab infrastructure, the workshop covers algorithmic thinking through unplugged coding logic, block-based programming, and hands-on experiences with AI and 3D technologies.

Our goal is to promote educational equity and inclusion under challenging circumstances, foster digital literacy at an early age, and inspire the next generation of innovators.
