Μια συνεργατική δραστηριότητα κωδικοποίησης και αποκωδικοποίησης στο πλαίσιο του eTwinning project “Be My Guide! – Our European Adventure”.

Decode Our Cities! 🌍

A collaborative coding and decoding activity carried out as part of the eTwinning project “Be My Guide! – Our European Adventure”.

Students from the participating European schools get to know each other’s cities through a common digital “code”: ASCII.

Each school creates a short message in English about a characteristic feature of its city — a landmark, a local product, a tradition or something the city is known for. The message is then converted into ASCII code and sent, through a common Taskcard, to another partner school.

The partner school receives the secret message, decodes the numbers and tries to discover what the students wanted to share about their city.

In this way, a chain of collaboration is created, where each school encodes one message, decodes another and discovers a European city through code!

💻 I encode → 🔐 I decode → 🌍 I discover → 🤝 I connect

An activity that combines coding, English language, digital skills, collaboration and intercultural learning, turning our cities into secret messages travelling from school to school!
