Urszula Stachowiak is a GPU Compiler Engineer at Intel in Gdańsk, Poland, home to Intel’s largest R&D center in Europe. She works on the Intel Graphics Compiler (IGC), focusing on developing and optimizing high-performance compiler technologies for modern graphics processing units. Her work sits at the intersection of software and hardware, where she translates complex computational challenges into efficient, low-level solutions. 

Urszula enjoys diving deep into performance analysis, debugging, and optimization, applying a strong understanding of computer architecture. She is actively engaged as a mentor and is passionate about knowledge sharing and supporting women in technology, advocating for greater diversity and inclusion in engineering. She is also a member of GRAI, a working group on artificial intelligence supporting the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs, where she is part of the Cybersecurity sub-group.

In addition to her work on GPU compilers, she has hands-on experience in computer networks and the telecommunications sector, with a strong interest in cybersecurity. In her free time, she enjoys participating in hackathons with her team.
