The Maker movement is about knowledge sharing, discovering new ways to use technology and experiment with tools, materials and skills combining coding, crafts, design and devices. After hosting several maker events for students and community, we identified a need by professionals who wanted to have the opportunity to experiment with e.g 3D printing, arduinos, sensors and LEDs. The makerspace event on October 15th in Electrum, Kista we will create things using Arduinos. The focus isn't just on how to use an Arduino, but also to get the participants to think about possibilities for creative and educational activities using embedded IT systems. The arduino will be the first “Ah Ha!” moment.
