Programar com micro:bit

The "Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Medicine" conference, scheduled for August 18-19, 2025, in the beautiful city of Lisbon, Portugal, is poised to be a leading international event in the field of AI-driven healthcare innovation. This conference will bring together top researchers, clinicians, industry leaders, and policymakers from around the world to explore the transformative impact of AI on medicine and healthcare.

Roundtable on the topic of empowering for the digital arts, with a reflection on it's importance and the challenges at a local level. Invited participants:

• Gonçalo Negrão, dean and professor of Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão Jean Piaget in Almada.
• Artur Coelho, ICT teacher and PTD coordinator at AE Venda do Pinheiro, teacher trainer (ANPRI/CFAERC/ASSP), EU Codeweek Leading Teacher (PT), member of Lab Aberto Fablab.
• Paulo Lopes, representative of Sharkcoders Seixal and Sharkcoders Almada.
• Daniel Índias Fernandes, artist and educator at TUMO Coimbra dedicated to exploring the integration of creativity and technology through a biocentric lens, tackling the challenges of the modern world with mindful and regenerative solutions.
• Hugo Pinto representative member of the Load ZX Spectrum museum.
• TBC representive member of Rato - ADCC, a youth organization from the region of Setúbal that develops projects of social inclusion in the field of Information and Communication Technologies.

School Library will foster digital and information literacy in a session organised with English teacher and a class of 9th graders.

Students will get not only get familiar with AI history and personalities since 19th century onwards but also will create avatars and record messages about these famous scientists using some AI tools. Ada Lovelace, Alan Turing, are a couple of examples,  Tasks will take place under teachers supervision and monitoring during lesson.

Together with ICT teacher, sts are expected to get familiar and take Code week courses and share certificates with community.

Together with the Maths teacher pupils will apply some coding principles to everyday life. The purpose is to foster problem solving skills and logic.

The activities integrate the eTwinning project : Alan Turing, Enigma Codebreaker.
