In this innovative project, students will merge vocabulary learning with coding skills to create a personalized digital dictionary. The project begins with students identifying key vocabulary words from UNIT 1 of their course book.

Next, students will share their vocabulary lists with their classmates, promoting collaborative discussion and a deeper understanding of the terms. Each vocabulary word will then be assigned a unique code, which students will use to digitally represent the words in their dictionaries.

As part of the project, students will also create coded images that visually represent each vocabulary item. This visual component aims to enhance their comprehension and provide a creative way to engage with the words. Additionally, students will include the phonetic spelling of each word to assist with accurate pronunciation.

To further demonstrate their understanding, students will code sentences using each vocabulary word. This exercise helps them apply the terms in context, reinforcing their grasp of the vocabulary.

The final outcome of the project will be an individualized dictionary for each student. This dictionary will feature the unit’s key vocabulary words, along with their codes, visual representations, phonetic spellings, and example sentences. By integrating vocabulary acquisition with basic coding principles, this project offers a dynamic and interactive learning experience.
