Participating in the Hour of Code 2021 with the 5th-graders (E1 and E2 classes) through the eTwinning project "Let's explore the world of technology". The students will travel back in time to save the future in this free Hour of Code lesson in Minecraft: Education Edition. Students will choose their own adventure and learn basic coding concepts to correct mysterious mishaps throughout history. Along the way, they'll connect with great innovators and inventions in science, architecture, music, engineering, and more.

The activity will take place in the computer lab during the ICT/Computer Science class

With this coding activity, we aim to use students' coding skills to support sustainability. A sustainable life is very important to protect our world. We can use technology positively and efficiently to support this. We organize this event to increase our students' awareness of sustainability and to develop their computational thinking skills at the same time.
