Disastro polinomiale

Description: The students of the 2nd MiT (Meli Information Technology - App and Web Programmers) of the Liceo Classico G. Meli present a video about monomials in order to demonstrate how you can study mathematics and programming in a fun, effective and creative way but…. pay attention to unexpected events!

The video was created with the app Reality Composer and the “behaviors” applied to 3D objects. As with commands and instructions for a programming language, these “behaviors” allow you to choose how to move the objects or how to modify their properties.

The animated objects move in a virtual world that, inserted in a real environment, modifies its space and perception.

Math&Greek Calculator

Description: Based on a model included in the app Swift Playgrounds, this calculator allows you to associate two vowels in Ancient Greek and identify the corresponding contraction. Each choice is memorized by the calculator which simultaneously generates a polynomial and finds its simplified form by adding up similar monomials.

A simple pretext to connect Greek with Mathematics through programming!
