Οι μαθητές όλων των τάξεων Α, Β και Γ Γυμνασίου (12-14 χρονών) του Γυμνασίου Καρέα, στο μάθημα της Πληροφορικής, θα εμπλακούν με δραστηριότητες προγραμματισμού, χρησιμοποιώντας ως γλώσσα προγραμματισμού το Scratch. Οι μαθητές παίζοντας, πειραματίζονται και αναπτύσσουν τεχνικές επίλυσης προβλημάτων, παρακολουθώντας μαθήματα προγραμματισμού με τις εφαρμογές των αγαπημένων τους ηρώων: Angry birds, minecraft, star wars, frozen, Disney Infinity Play Lab, Flappy code, Artist και Run Marco. Students (12-14 age) from all classes of Kareas High School, will get involved in programming with scratch. They will play and take a course in programming with Angry birds, minecraft, star wars, frozen, Disney Infinity Play Lab, Flappy code, Artist and Run Marco.

STEM FESTIVAL
STEM Festival with presentations and competitions targeted to ages 4-17 years old. The STEM topics include Mechanics, Robotics, Mechatronics and Computer Science (Scratch, Python, C, AR/VR games, Web Design and IoT). Other topics are BioEngineering, Astrophysics, Industrial Design and Financial Engineering. The students will present their projects to the audience and the competition will have winners announced .

R2-ROBOT avoiding obstacles (2PS-E1)
Fifth-grade E12 class students (ages 10–11) are creating robotic projects using the Arduino-based microcontroller and the R2-ARD:icon robotics kit. In this course, they will learn to control a robotic car and program it to avoid obstacles. The car should detect an obstacle and smoothly maneuver around it, then continue moving in the original direction.
This activity is an interdisciplinary activity part of the "From Mythology to Space" project.
They are using the MIND+ block coding platform along with:
-the Arduino UNO extension
-the Greek S1 extension from STEM EDUCATION
