Pixel Art Challenges:Cultural Heritage in Code
Mon, Feb 3, 2025 6:07 PM

As part of this eTwinning project, partners schools collaborate to create interactive pixel art activities and challenges inspired by UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in their cities or countries.

Using pixel art creation tools and basic programing enviroments(such as Zaplycode),each student group designs a digital representation of a heritage monument and integrates it into an activity or coding challenge. These are then exchanged with partner schools, allowing students to engage with each  other"s work.

Through this playful exchange, students solve, expand or decode each other"s challenges, learning the foundations of programming while exploring the world"s cultural treassures. In doing so,they become more aware of the importance of preserving cultural heritage and develop their identity as active global citizens of tomorrow.
