Have you ever wondered how animations are created in and for games? Did you know that animation is just an illusion - a trick on the eye and on the mind? These are the same questions that this workshop is designed to answer. In this workshop we shall be looking at the different kinds of animation techniques that one can use within computer games and see how it is possible to create said animations. Explore two-dimensional (2D) animated sprites in Unity, use built-in tools within Unity to manipulate sprite sheets and create animations, and explore how one can control the animations played by using some scripting. It is preferable if you could bring your own laptop with the latest Unity installed. During the workshop, you will need to connect your laptop to our wireless network for connection to the Internet.
