eTwinning project "Scratch our culture with stories and games" We will be doing Scratch animations with the name of our countrie (Portugal) or place where we live (Lousã). This activitie is for Scratch begginers in the etwinning project but it will also take place in classes from 4th to 8th grade.

Through dot cards will be shown to the class how to convert a number from decimal system to a number in the binary system. Then, groups of students will be formed and they write secret messages between them, using the binary system.

We will make a game in Unity to show how can kids with 11-13 years old, by themselves, can design and code a full funcional game in Unity, covering the Unity Engine and C# coding. This activity will go on from June to October.

This activity will be the official launch of the CodeWeek project in the Council of Figueira da Foz. With full support from the City Council we will have a full day dedicated to education, technology and in the afternoon the launch of CodeWeek 2019, its objectives and some of the projects which we are already developing will be presented in the auditorium of the Municipal Museum to different guests and technologists and teachers from different areas. It will be on the 28th of September and will start at 10.30 in the morning. Open to the whole community. Mr. CodeWeek's Ambassador to Portugal, from the outset, will be one of the guests, because he is now invited to be present, which would greatly honor us.
