BLUE & GREEN CODE GUARDIANS (BECOME A CODE GUARDIAN)

Students complete their Code Guardian Passport and reflect on their learning journey. They answer: What did I discover? What did I code? What data did I analyse? What problem did I investigate? What did I create? What did I learn from failure? How can technology help nature? What will I create next? Students share their reflections and identify their next STEM learning goal. Output: Code Guardia

BLUE & GREEN CODE GUARDIANS (STEM CAREER CONNECT & CODE AND NATURE FESTIVAL)

The final public event combines STEM career exploration with a student innovation showcase. Students meet university representatives, STEM professionals and technology experts and explore pathways in coding, AI, data science, engineering and environmental technology. The second part is a public exhibition where students demonstrate their prototypes, digital maps, IoT solutions, AI challenges and e

BLUE & GREEN CODE GUARDIANS (BUILD YOUR GREEN PROTOTYPE)

Activities | 2026-08-21

BLUE & GREEN CODE GUARDIANS (BUILD YOUR GREEN PROTOTYPE)

Student teams transform their ideas into physical or digital prototypes using Arduino, Micro:bit, ESP8266, sensors, AI and other digital tools. Teams test their prototypes, identify problems, improve their designs and prepare demonstrations. Expected output: At least five demonstrable student prototypes. Skills: Coding, engineering, IoT, AI, design thinking and teamwork.

BLUE & GREEN CODE GUARDIANS (BUILD YOUR GREEN PROTOTYPE)

Teams receive a real or simulated Smart Hive dataset and investigate the question: “Is something changing in the hive?” Students identify trends, formulate hypotheses and propose an appropriate technological response. Output: Bee Data Investigation

BLUE & GREEN CODE GUARDIANS (FROM DATA TO SOLUTION)

Activities | 2026-08-21

BLUE & GREEN CODE GUARDIANS (FROM DATA TO SOLUTION)

Students select one problem identified through their data investigations and apply Design Thinking: EMPATHISE → DEFINE → IDEATE → PROTOTYPE → TEST They develop a solution based on evidence rather than assumptions. Output: Innovation Canvas and prototype concept.

BLUE & GREEN CODE GUARDIANS (PHASE 7 — INNOVATE, CONNECT & SHARE)

Activities | 2026-08-21

BLUE & GREEN CODE GUARDIANS (PHASE 7 — INNOVATE, CONNECT & SHARE)

Students combine data generated through the BLUE and GREEN laboratories. They search for patterns, anomalies, relationships and trends. Each team creates a short data story explaining what the evidence shows and what action could be taken. Output: Environmental Data Story.
