The 6th-grade students will learn about empathy through coding and Roblox Studio. Guided by the Intel Starter Pack: Roblox: FEEL, CODE, CONNECT, they will code and refine the dialogues in the Roblox game FEEL, CODE, CONNECT to include empathetic responses.

This project will introduce 10-year-old students to Artificial Intelligence and assistive technologie. The goal is to develop a system where subtle wrist movements could control a light switch, showcasing the potential of AI to help individuals with motion difficulties.
The students will use two BBC Micro:bits and the new Micro:bit CreateAI platform. They will create and train a machine learning model, then upload it to one of the Micro:bits. Using the radio connection, each time a specific movement is detected on the first Micro:bit, a radio signal is triggered to the second one, which will turn the LED light on or off.
This activity is part of eTwinning project “SUSTAINABLE: Sparking Understanding of SDGs Through AI and Novel Approaches in Balanced Learning Environments” , activity “SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities - 3rd of December / International Day of Persons with Disabilities - Experiential Learning”.

SDG time travellers DIGITAL ESCAPE ROOM
A digital escape room is a fun and engaging activity to provide content to your students and is a wonderful way to promote the 21st Century Four C’s – communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.In this digital escape room , the students will work alone or together in groups to interact in a story related to the 17 sustainable development goals to solve puzzles, games, and identify information in order to find clues to unlock pages to reveal more content. Students will have to decode some tasks (binary code puzzle, hangman, etc) The ultimate goal is to see who can BREAK OUT of the Escape Room first while solving all of the puzzles correctly and acquiring clues along the way. This digital escape room is for high school students.
