Atšvaitų dienos tikslas – priminti pėstiesiems, kad einant tamsoje ar esant blogam matomumui būtina su savimi turėti taisyklingai pritvirtintus atšvaitus, neštis šviečiantį žibintą ar vilkėti ryškiaspalvę liemenę su šviesą atspindinčiais elementais, paraginti naudoti atšvaitus./The purpose of Reflectors Day is to remind pedestrians that when walking in the dark or with poor visibility, it is necessary to carry properly attached reflectors, carry a lighted lantern or wear a brightly colored vest with reflective elements, to encourage the use of reflectors.

1.Reikalinga atšvaitų juosta.

2.Kiekvienas vaikas turi turėti žirkles

3.Mokytoja turi turėti skylamušį 

4. Reikalingi šniūrai. 

5. Mokiniai gali dekoruoti atšvaitus gali.

6. Reikalingas  spalvotas popieriaus.

7. Reikalingi blizgučiai papuošimui.

8. Pagamintus atšvaitus ant rūbų ar kuprinių galima klijuoti tik su tėvų sutikimu, nes nuplėšti neįmanoma. 

9. Galima pasikviesti savo mokyklos teritorijoje dirbančią policininkę.
