Students will: 

-work in small groups

-learn to observe and cooperate

-learn to orient themselves

-Distinguish the basic programming commands (e.g. forward-backward-left-right movement commands)

Τhe children will use materials from nature such as leaves, branches or fruits of trees and stones. 

Τhe children explore the yard to gather the materials. We place the materials mixed together on the tiles of the yard . Students are divided into groups of 3. The first makes the code and places the arrows, 2nd reads the arrows, 3rd moves like a robot and 4th is the observer.

The goal for each group is to gather and sort the materials into groups.

As an extension of the activity, the children will create patterns with the materials from the groups.

The activity is collaborative, involving the kindergarten teachers: Rentzepi Katerina, Arxonti Bana, Komzia Evaggelia, Papadogkona Konstantina.
