In just one hour you will create the beginnings of a 3D Frogger game that you can share with your friends. Of course, you don't have to build a 3D Frogger game. You can create anything you like! Guided by an interactive video tutorial in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, you can make a simple game or get ideas how to create a super-sophisticated one that includes 3D layers and multiple levels. When you are done make sure to submit your game to save it so you can continue working on it later, you get a diploma and your friends can play it on their computer and cell phones!

This year we introduced a new subject for our 2nd graders called Making. It´s based on the idea of maker education and introduces new forms of learning and teaching around the topics of 3D printing, lasercutting, robotics, coding, soldering, prototyping, presenting, open learning, creative expression, challenges and SDGs.
We startetd with programming the Calliope mini 3 microcontroller and an introduction to soldering. Next steps are building simple programmable robots, a challenge where teams have to lift a weight from A to B using a reduced set of materials and some prototyping with digital production machines.
SCRATCH Programmierung

Die Schüler_innen setzen Spielideen mithilfe von SCRATCH (https://scratch.mit.edu/) um.
Zuerst werden sie mit code.org an die blockbasierte Programmierung eingeführt und dann Schritt für Schritt lernen sie neue Funktionen (z.B. Erstellen von eigenen Sprites, ...) kennen.
Das Ziel ist ein eigenes Spiel mit eigenen Spielfiguren (Sprites) und Sounds zu erstellen.
FIRST LEGO League

Die MS Götzis ist mit einem Team bei der First Lego League 2024/25 angemeldet. Der Wettbewerb findet am 01.02.24 in der HTL in Bregenz satt, die Vorbereitungen laufen schon auf Hochtouren.
