Open online activity
Do you know an 8 - 18 year old who loves playing computer games? How about trying to get them to create their own game? Yes - it's simple and they can learn to get started during the event even if they do not have any earlier programming experience. Move from being a "consumer" of technology to "creator" using technology! We will use an online application to make a console game : Microsoft MakeCode Arcade. No prior programming experience required as we will use drag and drop programming. It works like Lego blocks! Guided by a young Coach, gamer and tech enthusiast! Register in advance: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZUqdO6spj8oGNa-56aIJIevDS0lBCU91RJr After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
