I am planning an activity with my high school students from 30th of October till 13th of November. I have seven students in the 1st year of general school who are taking Computer Science class. The objective of this activity is to introduce MIT App Inventor, an easy visual programming environment for building mobile apps to students. This activity will include introduction to the code blocks, their use in the application structure and analysing it, inserting basic components, sliders and text boxes, declaring and initializing variables, introducing arithmetic, relational and logical operators, conditional branching and loops. Student will create and run their first simple starter projects/apps and will test them using an emulator. Given that this activity is an introduction to blocks based programming language it doesn’t require students previous knowledge in programming.

L'attività vede coinvolti gli alunni di classe 3^A della scuola primaria di Dosson. Gli alunni, riuniti in piccoli gruppi, hanno conosciuto le api Blue-Bot e hanno imparato a muovere il robot secondo le istruzioni ricevute.
