CodeWeek2019@Primary School of Perahora will enable students from all classes (age 6-12) to access the basic concepts of programming using the Code.org activities (1st activity) suited for their age and experience from previous years events. The event will be held on 8 and 18 of October 2019 during their regular hour of "Technology, Informatics and Communication" lessons and will be followed by additional activities for higher classes involving Introduction to Robotics with the Edison Robot (2nd activity) and Programming in Scratch (3rd activity). Οι μαθητές/τριες μέσα από διάφορες δραστηριότητες θα εισαχθούν με παιγνιώδη τρόπο στις βασικές αρχές του προγραμματισμού, στο μάθημα Τεχνολογιών Επικοινωνίας και Πληροφορικής (ΤΠΕ) στο σχολείο, με την καθοδήγηση του εκπαιδευτικού Πληροφορικής του σχολείου κ.Κωνσταντίνου Μυλωνόπουλου. Οι μαθητές/τριες παίζοντας, πειραματίζονται χρησιμοποιώντας ως γλώσσα προγραμματισμού το blockly και αναπτύσσουν τεχνικές επίλυσης προβλημάτων, παρακολουθώντας μαθήματα προγραμματισμού με τις εφαρμογές των αγαπημένων τους ηρώων: Angry birds, minecraft, star wars, frozen, κ.α., μέσα από δραστηριότητες της ιστοσελίδας https://code.org/. and will be followed by additional activities for higher classes involving Introduction to Robotics with the Edison Robot (2nd activity) and Programming in Scratch (3rd activity). Για τις μεγαλύτερες τάξεις θα ακολουθήσουν επιπρόσθετες δραστηριότητες σχετικά με Εισαγωγή στη Ρομποτική με το ρομπότ Edison και Εισαγωγή στον οπτικό προγραμματισμό με τουβλάκια με το Scratch.

Paleontologists' Team (P4F) from the 32nd Primary School of Piraeus and their teacher,Margarita Dakoronia using the scratch junior, create short films that lead other paleontologists to discover fossils. Then they are led to the discovery of the fossil of a dinosaur.These fossils give them messages for the future of Earth.

This is an AI learning activity. An AI learning activity is a short activity that encourages the use of AI tools and technologies in the classroom. In this AI activity called Smart Classroom, students will train a machine learning model to recognise the meaning of instructions. They will create a smart assistant in scratch allowing them to control virtual devices. This project aims to introduce students to the basics of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) by making their own machine learning powered project. This is team project, each team training their own ML Model and working with its own Scratch 3.0 program. All activities can be done remotely. This activity is for Lower Secondary School students (12-15) years old.

The students will work in groups of 4 or 5 students created by a simple game. Part 1: Each group choose a hero from voki and create a message for the other groups. The message could be a very short story (it depends to the kids’ creativity) but it has to involve instructions that will help the other groups reach a picture or a toy which is placed on a chart that is created with tape on the classroom floor. Part 2: The kids listen to their schoolmates’ voki message, follow the instructions moving on the chart and reach the goal (picture/toy) they are asked to. Part3:. If we want we can go one step further and do the activity using beebot . The kids program beebot to move on a smaller chart created either on floor or on a table, according to the instructions of each Voki message. The teacher expains how Voki works,watches the students' groups offering help or quidance when needed. Through that activity, students get to know Voki and use it in a creative way through collaboration with each other. Additionally, they get aquainted with coding in a playful way.
