Please find below a call for proposals from our Code4Europe consortium partner Profil Klett, which is open to the Code Week community in Croatia and Slovenia.

Second Round of EU Code Week Grants for Grassroots for Croatia and Slovenia

The consortium of the international Code4Europe project has established a system of small grants to support local initiatives that promote activities aligned with the key priorities of the EU Code Week initiative.

Following the excellent response to the first call, we are launching the second round of applications and inviting all schools, libraries, associations, youth centres, technology clubs and other local non-profit organisations in Croatia and Slovenia to submit their ideas!

This call aims to support small, inspiring and practical projects that encourage coding, computational thinking and digital skills, with a special emphasis on young people and girls. Examples of activities that can be submitted include:

  • programming and robotics workshops
  • digital creativity (video, animation, VR/AR, sound, design)
  • hackathons
  • digital skills initiatives involving parents, the local community and volunteers
  • development of educational materials
  • STEM workshops and similar activities

The application deadline is 8 February 2026. All details regarding eligibility criteria, as well as the link to the application form, can be found in the call documentation prepared separately for Croatia (in Croatian) and Slovenia (in Slovenian).

A total of three grants will be awarded for projects from Croatia and Slovenia, and each grant may amount to up to EUR 1,000.

Projects will be evaluated based on the quality of the proposal, alignment with the priorities and objectives of the EU Code Week initiative, educational value and sustainability.

To apply, please submit:

  • a project description
  • an implementation plan
  • a project budget
  • other relevant documents

On behalf of the Code4Europe consortium, Profil Klett, as the EU Code Week Regional Hub, organises and implements this grant programme in Croatia and Slovenia.
