Strengthening the Italian Code Week Community

The Italian EU Code Week HUB is proud to announce a new initiative dedicated to empower and recognise its most engaged community members: the Leading Teachers. From 30 June to 2 July 2025, the selected group of educators from across Italy will gather in Avigliana, in the Italian Alps, for the Summer School.

Coordinated and designed by the Code Week National HUB Fondazione LINKS together with Code Week Ambassador Alessandro Bogliolo, the Summer School aims to further strengthen the Italian Code Week community by offering participants a dedicated space for reflection, collaboration and professional growth.

A unique opportunity to connect, reflect and co-design

Set in the inspiring landscape of Certosa1515, a 16th-century monastery nestled in the Val di Susa mountains, the event will provide a blend of structured training modules and informal networking opportunities. During the three-day programme, participants will:

  • Reconnect as a national community of practice
  • Explore inclusive and playful approaches to coding and computational thinking
  • Reflect on the evolving role of educators in the digital age, including the impact of AI
  • Co-design shared proposals and ideas for the 2025 edition of Code Week in Italy
  • And enjoy walks in nature, meaningful conversations, and moments of rest and creativity

The initiative reflects the HUB’s broader commitment to fostering a strong and supportive ecosystem where educators can learn from one another and shape the future of digital education together.

Updates from the event will be shared on the Code Week blog and social media channels.
