EU Code Week Greek Hackathon 2025

The Greek Hackathon is happening!

If you and your friends consider yourselves young innovators, create a team and tackle a new challenge by joining the Greek Hackathon.

📅When and where? 6 & 7 December 2025 and fully online via Eventornado, Discord, and Teams!

Do you want to participate? Form a team (4-6 participants) and start an exciting adventure! One of the challenges listed below will be given to you on the day of the Hackathon. Identify a problem within the challenge and create a solution with your team. A mentor will be assigned to each team for additional support. Pitch your idea in a document and a 5-minute video presentation to the Greek jury.

The central theme of the Hackathon: From Code to Community: Bridging Digital Skills and Social Impact!

2️⃣Healthcare

3️⃣Agricultural

4️⃣Education

5️⃣Sustainability

🏆 The prize? Everyone will get a participation certificate, and the winning team will compete in the EU Final in March 2026!

👉 Note: The local Hackathon is in Greek, but the EU Final will be in English.

Who can participate? All Greek students aged 15 to 19!

Roadmap for the Greek Hackathon

1️⃣ Registration: 27 October 2025 until 3 December 2025 at 23:59 (local time)

2️⃣ Create a team with other participants. If you are alone, you can join another team, or we can help you find one. Note that creating a more gender-balanced team will help you consider different aspects of the challenge.

3️⃣ Mentors will be available for all the teams during the Hackathon

4️⃣ Talks and workshops will be held during the Greek Hackathon to develop your presentation and entrepreneurship skills.

5️⃣ Pitching session on the afternoon of the 7th of December.

6️⃣The winning team will be announced by the jury on the 7th of December in an award ceremony and will be invited to the EU CodeWeek Hackathon Final that will take place virtually in March 2026.
