Supporting projects in the framework of EU Code Week 2025 

Introduction:
WIDE ANDCO is pleased to announce a call for projects to support stakeholders in Luxembourg in organizing digital and coding activities as part of the EU Code Week initiative. We are seeking projects that align with the Code4Europe and EU Code Week’s mission to promote an inclusive and innovative approach to digital citizenship, contributing to a more equitable and resilient society. 

Objective of the Grant:
This grant is designed to support community-based organizations, non-profits, teachers and local initiatives in implementing activities that: 

  • Address key community challenges with innovative and scalable solutions 
  • Support activities in the scope of EU Code Week that aim to reach clear target groups.  
  • Enhance local engagement, capacity-building, and sustainability. 
  • Deliver measurable impact and long-term benefits 

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be: 

  • Legally registered non-profits, grassroots organizations, or community groups based in Luxembourg 
  • Able to demonstrate previous experience and capacity in managing community-driven projects and events 

Funding Information: 

  • Grant Amount: Up to 5000 euros, covering the cost of maximum 2 projects. 
  • Fund Release Information: 50% before the start of the project and the remaining 50% after the successful completion and submission of project report. 
  • Project Duration and implementation : From October to December 2025. 
  • Eligible Expenses: [e.g., program implementation, capacity-building, materials, outreach, room rental, prizes for participants, communication]. Salary expenses cannot be part of the expenses as Code Week is a volunteer based initiative. 
  • A financial disclosure including bills, invoices etc. will be requested from all participants towards the end of their respective projects to prove their expenses. 

Proposal Requirements:
Applicants should submit a detailed proposal including: 

  • Project Description and Proposal: Clear articulation of the project’s goals, objectives, and relevance. Maximum 3-5 page long proposal excluding pictures and annexes.  
  • Implementation Plan: Timeline, activities, and key deliverables. 
  • Expected Impact: Anticipated outcomes and how they will be measured. 
  • Budget Plan: Detailed breakdown of project costs. 
  • Organizational Information: Background, mission, and past relevant experience. 

A committee will decide on the chosen projects. 

Evaluation Criteria:
Proposals will be assessed based on: 

  • Relevance and innovation of the proposed project. 
  • Feasibility and clarity of the implementation plan. 
  • Ability to reach target groups.  
  • Expected impact and measurement.  
  • Strength of impact measurement framework. 
  • Budget and cost efficiencies. 
  • Sustainability and scalability potential.

  • Submission Format: PDF format send b y email 
  • Selection and notification: Mid-September 2025 at the latest
