Coming soon: a new way to connect classrooms with digital experts

15/05/25

Exciting news for the EU Code Week community: a brand-new matchmaking tool is on the way… and you can now join the community!

This tool is designed to help educators connect with digital experts from across Europe, who are ready to share their knowledge, inspire students, and bring digital education to life.

What’s it all about?

A matchmaking tool to connect your oganisation with educators and individuals, creating collaboration between companies and academia that benefits everyone involved. Share your digital expertise flexibly, whether through brief online sessions, classroom visits, or career talks, all on your own schedule. By joining you will raise awareness of your organisation among future talent, help educators bring real-world digital application into classroms, and demonstrate your company’ corporate social responsibility.

Any kind of contribution is welcome. Big or small, each act of volunteering can inspire and empower the next generation.

Schools and educators will soon be able to explore a growing database and find the right fit for their students — from coding and AI to digital creativity and career talks. These connections bring lessons to life and show students how digital skills are used in the real world.

Why it matters

This initiative builds a strong network that goes beyond classrooms, giving students the chance to see how their learning connects to real-world opportunities. We are also focused on inclusion, especially when it comes to breaking down gender stereotypes in STEM. That’s why we are working with NGOs, ambassadors, and ministries of education to make this experience as diverse and impactful as possible.

After the match

Everyone who participates will receive a short feedback questionnaire. We’d love to hear about your experience and how we can keep improving the tool — and the volunteering journey.

Join us!

This is your chance to be part of something meaningful. Join the EU Code Week community today — and help shape the future of digital learning!
