Celebrating Creativity and Impact: The Digital Innovation Awards 2025

20/05/25

In an ever-evolving digital world, innovation and adaptability are crucial. That’s why the Digital Innovation Awards, powered by #EUCodeWeek and funded by the European Commission, spotlight the bright minds who are developing impactful digital solutions while mastering both digital and transversal skills.

These awards recognise forward-thinking teams who are not only solving real-world problems but also shaping the future of tech and society. Whether you’re designing a tool to promote inclusivity, tackling climate change with code, or improving digital access—this is your stage.

What Makes a Winner?

Entries will be judged according to four main criteria:

🔹 Innovation and Creativity (40%)
Is the solution fresh, practical, and imaginative? Judges are looking for original ideas with real-world applications.

🔹 Impact Potential (30%)
How much of a difference could this solution make? Social, environmental, and economic impact all count.

🔹 Presentation and Teamwork (15%)
How well does the team communicate their idea? Are they working collaboratively and with purpose?

🔹 Use of Technology (15%)
Is the technology applied in a way that enhances accessibility, ethical standards, and user experience?
