About Code4Europe and EU Code Week*
The Code4Europe project is funded by the European Commission and brings together more than 40 educational and digital industry organisations – including Microsoft, Intel, Cisco and Accenture – representing all the major digital education and skills stakeholder groups. The project is led by Junior Achievement Europe.
Code4Europe aims to empower 25 million young, digitally savvy Europeans with coding skills by June 2026. Its mission is to enhance digital education, building on the successes of EU Code Week since its launch in 2013.

What is EU Code Week? EU Code Week is an international grassroots movement that helps millions of people in Europe and beyond to learn, create, innovate and have fun with digital technologies. With the support of volunteers – ambassadors, leading teachers and activity organisers – the initiative encourages others to join and make a difference for youth. Through creativity, problem solving and collaboration, students gain valuable insights and acquire new skills.
Uni Systems’ Role**
As part of its contribution to the Code4Europe consortium, Uni Systems has two core roles:
- Leading the EU Code Week CSR Programme, which includes the development of a comprehensive CSR Toolkit and a multifaceted promotional #FutureReadyCSR campaign aimed at businesses and industry organisations.
- Acting as a founding partner of the Greek National Hub for EU Code Week.
