Description:

Whithin the Code Week, the students of the 5th and 6th grade of Ralleia Model Experimental Primary Schools of Piraeus will try to complete the “Angry Birds” activity from the Code.org site and try to develop their own games in Scratch. The students of 3rd and 4th grade will learn and play with Robot Obstacle Course (http://www.omsi.edu/tech/RobotActivity/index.htm)

In our school we will organize unplugged activities in order to bring teams together. Students will practice by using a simple combination of symbols in order to navigate one another in a map. This activity will help students realize that in order to give clear instructions, they need a common language. They will also create different types of slopes which will relate to their interests.Moreover students will learn through the code.org platform. Students will create their own slopes, play and present them to the other class. Furthermore slopes will be available to other school that participate in Code Week 4 all.
