LET'S CREATE SOME CHRISTMAS PIXEL ART !

In January we will be dealing with snowman day in our project: Colorful Preschool Time.

So we will dress the snowman with clothes and accessories, which are white in color. We will prepare cards from magazines with pictures of clothes in various colors and of course in white. The beebot will go through the cards and take only the cards with the white clothes. Making the process a little more difficult and having already implemented other activities with beebot, we can use the clothing cards of other colors as obstacles, making sure that the children do not pass through them.

Also, enriching the activity, children can work in groups. One child will prepare the arrow code and another will run it and say if it worked. In addition, the other children in the plenary will be able to suggest a different route. Thus, they will count the arrows - steps and begin to familiarize themselves with the logic of the shortest path, cultivating their logico-mathematical thinking.

Τον Ιανουάριο θα ασχοληθούμε με την ημέρα του χιονάνθρωπου στο έργο μας: Colourful Preschool Time. 

Θα ντύσουμε λοιπόν το χιονάνθρωπο με ρούχα και αξεσουάρ, που έχουν άσπρο χρώμα. Θα ετοιμάσουμε κάρτες από περιοδικά με εικόνες ρούχων σε διάφορα χρώματα και φυσικά σε λευκό. Η μελισσούλα θα περνάει από τις κάρτες και θα παίρνει μόνο τις κάρτες με τα λευκά ρούχα. Δυσκολεύοντας λιγάκι τη διαδικασία κι έχοντας ήδη υλοποιήσει κι άλλες δραστηριότητες με το beebot, μπορούμε να χρησιμοποιήσουμε τις κάρτες των ρούχων με άλλα χρώματα ως εμπόδια, προσέχοντας τα παιδιά να μην περάσουν από αυτά.

Επίσης, εμπλουτίζοντας τη δραστηριότητα μπορούν να δουλέψουν τα παιδιά σε ομάδες. Ένα παιδί θα ετοιμάζει τον κώδικα με βελάκια κι ένα άλλο θα τον εκτελεί και θα λέει, αν δούλεψε. Επιπλέον, τα άλλα παιδιά στην ολομέλεια θα μπορούν να προτείνουν μια διαφορετική διαδρομή. Έτσι, θα μετρούν τα βελάκια - βήματα και θα αρχίσουν να εξοικειώνονται με τη λογική της πιο σύντομης διαδρομής, καλλιεργώντας τη λογικομαθηματική τους σκέψη. 

In February in our project Colourful Preschool Time we will deal with hippo day and the color gray.

Younger students will become familiar with an activity with arrows in different directions (up, down, right, left) following the pattern.

The older students will lead the little Hippopotamus to the creations that the other schools have prepared (either drawings or information in code that the children will say something important about the hippopotamus, e.g. it is gray in color or even to the exhibition of Mr. Gray's works with drawings only in shades of gray). The teacher will place the cards on the beebot mockup.

Creations will be added to a collaborative digital tool, the link to which will be shared with project members.
