The activity aims to bring coding and digital literacy to the students in a fun and engaging way.
Short description:
The children will work in teams and create a tree image using pixel art. They will design a tree on a grid as they imagine it and then write the code. They will give the code to their classmates, who will then, based on the code, find the hidden image. In other words, we will be working with both processes: coding and decoding. For anyone interested, the ZaplyCode application can be used
Activity Objectives for students:
• to engage with coding and computational thinking • to understand what a pixel is
• to learn about a form of image encoding in digital media
• to be able to create an image from a given code and vice versa
• to collaborate and exchange ideas
Learning outcomes: Students will develop digital literacy skills, soft skills and behaviours that facilitate collaboration, teamwork and computational thinking in a fun way.

Τα παιδιά διαλέγουν μία κάρτα με έναν ελέφαντα και ψάχνουν να βρούν, στο "χαλί" τον αντίστοιχο. Μία δραστηριότητα μνήμης, προσοχής, παρατηρητικότητας, σχεδιασμένη για παιδιά με ειδικές εκπαιδευτικές ανάγκες, αλλά και για ένα "τυπικό" τμήμα.
