Art in Democracy

Art offers new perspectives on life and creates original and useful ideas. Art also promotes empathy and well-being making people happy and ready to do something.

Art reflects democracy and its values. As a result, people can voice their feelings, thoughts and identities freely.

Here is the Wakelet where we will display our students' digital posters:

This activity is part of the eTwinning project called 'Vote4Democracy' which gathered EPAS and non-EPAS schools from Europe.

Eco-friendly crafts for a greener tomorrow
Mon, Apr 7, 2025 8:00 AM

As part of Codeweek, our students, together with four eTwinning partner schools, will take part in the activity "Eco-Friendly Crafts for a Greener Tomorrow." This initiative aims to promote sustainability through traditional crafts while integrating digital collaboration tools.

Using Padlet, students will showcase a traditional product from their culture that can be used in a sustainable way in daily life. Through this activity, they will explore creative solutions for reducing waste, reusing materials, and making environmentally friendly choices.

Moreover, the project encourages students to develop critical thinking skills by analyzing the sustainability of traditional crafts and adapting them to modern needs. By working in an international team, they will also enhance their digital collaboration skills, learning how to share ideas effectively using online platforms.

This initiative aligns with the principles of Codeweek, integrating technology and sustainability in an engaging and meaningful way, while fostering international cooperation and digital literacy.
