TeenHack Ruse 2023: HACKATHON FOR STUDENTS CELEBRATES EU CODEWEEK 2023
EU CodeWeek is a grassroots movement that celebrates creativity, problem solving and collaboration through programming and other technological activities. The idea is to make programming more accessible, show young and old how to bring ideas to life with code, demystify these skills and bring motivated people together to learn.
When and where will it be held❓
TeenHack Ruse 2023 will last 2 days from the morning of October 27 (Friday) to the evening of October 28 (Saturday). The hackathon will be held in person, with the activities on 27.10.2023 (Friday) taking place in hall 2.203 of Ruse University "Angel Kanchev", and the presentation of the teams will be held on 28.10.2023 (Saturday) in Siemens Hall, in the Second Building of the University of Rousse.
The purpose of "TeenHack Ruse 2023" is to address challenges that affect not only our country, but also many countries around the world. It will provide an opportunity for students to design, develop and implement a solution to real-world problems. There will be mentors to assist the teams and guest speakers to provide guidance on design and presentation skills. The slogan of TeenHack Ruse 2023 is "Code to solve problems and bring your dreams to life".
Who can apply and how❓
The hackathon is open to young people with an interest in STEM, computer science, design, engineering, ICT and other fields. Teams must consist of a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 5 people. Teams are encouraged to ensure gender balance, thereby encouraging the participation of girls in TeenHack Ruse 2023. As far as possible, teams should include people with both technical and functional competencies.

Awards
The sponsors of the competition will award prizes totaling BGN 1,500 to the best 3 teams who will develop prototypes and test them in a real environment.
