DURATION: Three sessions of one hour each.
Type of activity: Face to face activity, although it can be adapted to online if it is needed.
Indicated age group: 11-12 years old.
1) GOALS:
a) To raise awareness about faking identities on the Internet.
b) To learn about AI applied to create a new face on This Person Does Not Exist - Random Face Generator (this-person-does-not-exist.com)
c) To use an AI created image to enhance the writing skills in a person’s description.
2) Materials required
a) AI generated video
b) A computer with access to the internet.
c) Worksheet
3) Steps:
a) Pre-lesson 1: Teacher will create a fake face with This Person Does Not Exist , choosing a child face. Then, the teacher will register on Talking Photo – HeyGen and will upload the fake face. After that, a script must be invented trying to be friendly to children. Provide details such as age, likes and dislikes and a place to meet each other. We want the students to become friends of this fake face.

b) Lesson 1: Teacher will tell the students the news: ¡You are going to have a new classmate! She/He has sent a video to introduce her/himself. After watching the video, ask the children if they are going to meet the new student this afternoon in the place selected. Encourage them to describe what do they think of the new boy/girl and to find common interests.
After that, when they feel excited about the new arrival, teacher will interrupt them to show another video sent by this kid. We do not want to be friends and meet an adult that lies.
Finally, debate in group about the risks of faking identities on the Internet.
c) Lesson 2: In groups of three, students will create a fake face using This Person Does Not Exist . Once they finished, students will start with their fake face description. First, they will be shown the evaluation scale to evaluate the description:

After analysing the scale in big group, guided by the teacher, they will have some time to write the description.
d) Lesson 3: In the same groups of three of the lesson 2, they will read evaluate the other members’ descriptions. They will have a worksheet with three scales. Afterwards, they will correct the descriptions following their mate’s advice. Finally, they will hand out their projects to the teacher to be formally assessed.
e) Special needs aids: people with visual impairment is recommended to start with the writing description and then turn the text into an image for their classmates wit AI tools, such as AI Face Generator, AI Portrait Generator - NightCafe Creator

"Jugamos al Intercrosse"
Se trata de una actividad inicial dentro de la "Situación de Aprendizaje" de "Jugamos al Intercrosse", destinada a alumnos de 6º curso de Educación Primaria en el área de Educación Física.
En grupos de "aprendizaje cooperativo" deberán investigar las características del juego y hacer una presentación en el "Aula Virtual" empleando algunas herramientas de "Inteligencia Artificial" como "ChatGPT", "Murf" o "Leonardo".

LA HORA DE CÓDIGO DE CANTABROBOTS, es un evento organizado por el CITED, coincidiendo con la propuesta de la Hora del Código Europea (codeweek.eu) y con la finalidad de fomentar el Pensamiento Computacional a través de la realización de diferentes actividades de programación, entre el 19 y el 31 de mayo de 2025, en los centros educativos de la Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria, cuya temática está relacionada con los ODS.
