Our 8th graders along with their Informatics teacher and English teachers of our school will support the EU Code Week Community initiative “Coding for peace”. With Scratch 3, we will code messages and we will create animated stories and games to express our thoughts and feelings about the need for peace in the region. Thus, we will show that coding can be used to express empathy and compassion in difficult situations.

Participants: 96 students.

Σε ένα μεγάλο χαρτόνι χωρισμένο σε τετράγωνα τα παιδιά ζωγραφίζουν το διάστημα και κολλούν τους πλανήτες του ηλιακού συστήματος. Με ψηφιακό λογισμικό φτιάχνουμε έναν τροχό που περιλαμβάνει όλους τους πλανήτες. Κάθε παιδί είναι αστροναύτης, γυρίζει τον τροχό δυο φορές και σχεδιάζει ΄σε χαρτί το διαστημικό ταξίδι του από τον πρώτο πλανήτη που έφερε ο τροχός στον δεύτερο πλανήτη. Δεν επιτρέπεται να περάσουν από τετράγωνο που έχει άλλον πλανήτη. Προγραμματίζουν τη μελισσούλα Bee-Bot με βάση το σχέδιό τους και το ταξίδι ξεκινάει!
Where are the rainbow colors?

As part of our Colourful Preschool Time project in April-May we will be dealing with rainbow day and its colors.
2nd activity: Rainbow - Pixel art
Children draw the rainbow, designed with the ZaplyCode app.
The activities of partner schools will be added to a collaborative video and the edit link will be shared with team members.
