Two sessions, introducing the foundations of computer programming. After an overview of how computers interpret code, we will create a website as a case study. Students (age 8-15) will write source code in a text editor, and learn the syntax of HTML and CSS.

Transition Year students will host a "Day of Code" for first year and national school students from the local community. The interactive day will include games and activities, use of computer hardware, coding programs, robotics and quiz.

Programming with BeeBots and Lego WeDo for all classes in the school.

A group of children in an after school coding club that have been taught how to use bee-bots will act as teachers for classes in code. The group of students will be accompanied by the link teacher and will be timetabled to initially teach younger classes code, then senior classes in the school. Session 2 will progress to the student tutors teaching middle classes about scratch and then senior classes.
