(i) Crack the code and see the hidden Gaia’s Buddy.

In pairs Ss convert the binary into bitmaps. They use white to represent 0 and black to represent 1

(ii) Who can Gaia’s Buddies be? Make your own images and codes

Ss make a picture and convert the bitmaps into binary, using a “0” to represent a white pixel and a “1” to represent a black pixel.

(iii) Upload your codes on the http://linoit.com/users/SophiaK-40/canvases/Gaia%27s%20Buddies%20crack%20the%20code and the images other students are expected to decode.

WRAP-UP :

(a) Students report back to class. They discuss about binary code and how to convert an encoded image into a drawn pixel image, how to design and encode a new one

  In the European eTwinning Eco Team, a project in which we participate, one of the "ecological tributes" of the project concerns activities related to the life and rescue of the bee.

Kids and teams are challenged to create a robotics track and program the beebot robot to "dance" the bee dance. With our actions we participate in World Bee Day on Monday, May 20 World Bee Day 2024.

Στα πλαίσια του online σεμιναρίου που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 10 Απριλίου στα πλαίσια ενημέρωσης γύρω από τις δράσεις ευρωπαϊκής εβδομάδες code week  και σε συνεργασία με την  google οι συμμετέχοντες θα δημιουργήσουν περιεκτικά και  ελκυστικά περιβάλλοντα μάθησης με θεματική «Ένα ταξίδι με Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη προς την περιβαλλοντική ευαισθητοποίηση».
