Description:

EURid, hosted by the European Gravitational Observatory in Cascina, will train 3 classrooms of junior high school student coders from the Vincenzo Galilei school in Pisa in a user-friendly programming language. Stefano Trumpy, president of Internet Society - Italy, will hold an introduction about the story of coding.

The event is addressed to primary and secondary school students, as well as to teachers who want to improve their knowledge and skills to effectively bring the coding with Scratch in classroom. The last day will be entirely dedicated to the citizenship, to promote coding for everyone and enhance public engagement. The plan of this #CodeEU event is the follow: - from 10 to 20 October, every day, Coding with Scratch at the primary and secondary school (ages 9-13) - 11 and 18 October, 14:30 – 17:30, Coding with Scratch and mBlock (course for teachers within the SOFIA platform) - Saturday, 20 October 2018: event addressed to the citizenship. In the morning, several labs for kids (ages 4-10) will be organized: BeeBot, Coding with Scratch, Makey Makey. In the afternoon, there will be a special edition of the CoderDojo “Coding with Scratch and some applications of educational robotics using mBot” (ages +7).

Istituire una danza in codice, a livelli di sequenza diversificati e adattabili alle diverse realtà scolastiche del Comprensivo: scuola dell'infanzia, scuola primaria, scuola secondaria di primo grado. Scopo di questo progetto è l'avviamento degli studenti al pensiero computazionale scoprendo che anche il corpo può diventare un linguaggio per scrivere sequenze in codice, che a ritmo di musica si trasformano in danza . Scegliere una musica comune ad ogni ordine scolastico e declinare ai ragazzi della secondaria la scelta anche su testi moderni. Far elaborare la sequenza di passi in codice da un gruppo di ragazzi della secondaria. All'interno del progetto di continuità verticale i ragazzi dell'ultimo grado scolastico andranno nelle sedi dei diversi plessi a illustrare, ad insegnare i passi ai bambini e alle loro insegnanti. Una giornata in cui nello stesso momento, in ogni sede, tutti gli allievi svolgono la Coding Dance potrebbe essere un evento Flash mob condiviso in eTwinning

Avec le Code Club du Lycée Chateaubriand de Rome, nous aidons à inspirer la prochaine génération.  Code Club est une communauté internationale de volontaires pour apprendre le codage informatique aux enfants. C'est une initiative née en Angleterre, et il y a maintenant des milliers de clubs à travers le monde.  Nous fournissons gratuitement toutes les ressources pédagogiques aux volontaires qui souhaitent animer un Code Club auprès d’enfants, de 8 à 12 ans, pour leur apprendre à programmer.
