Description:

From 11-17 Ocrober 2014 each class of the school worked for an hour , under the supervision of the ICT teacher, with programming activities . At the end of the week each student took his diploma for completing the "one hour of code". The success of the project led us to the continuation for the next week with new activities and games on writting code .

13 classes, 260 students aged from 9 to 12 will be involved in coding activities during the EuCodeWeek 2019, as part of their ICT curriculum. All activities will take part in the computer lab. Younger students will code using the Hour of Code activities from code.org and older will create animations and games with Scratch 3.0. Then we will proceed with an eTwinning project with Artificial Intelligence activities and use Scratch programming to create a game or/and interactive project that demonstrates a real-world use of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Unplugged activities among classes on codes (eg color codes, pixel art, binary codes and algorithms -graphs and everyday's life) in a LIVE event using adobe connect (through eTwinning platform) A multiplier event with new activities to be scheduled on the basis of the LIVE event that the partner-classes in the eTwinning project CODE RACE 2018-2019 had during the Europe Code week 2018.
