CoderDojo Athy
Open online activity
Athy, Kildare, IRL
Coderdojo Athy has been running since 2013 and we have been extremely fortunate to have had many mentors both male and female from the world of computing volunteering their time and expertise. Over this period, we have endeavored to provide education and training to all young people in the Athy community in an inclusive way. CoderDojo lends itself well to children who find it difficult to interact with other children where they can code on their own, yet supports groups where groups of children can come together to build team projects. It is common for children on the Autism spectrum to have an interest in Digital skills.
