Students in Year 4 will be introduced to the world of coding through a series of 3 sessions. During the first session they will watch videos and participate in a discussion in order to understand what coding is. They will then use their Learnpad tablets and the app Scratch Jr. to discover the basics of coding and to create their first code. In the following two sessions they will continue to explore more coding blocks and create more code in Scratch Jr. Students will record their experiences and share their creations with the class.
