Cooperation and innovation in kindergartens through European projects

The activity aims to help students learn about the basic categories of recycling, to raise awareness of environmental issues, to develop logical thinking and sequencing, and to understand basic commands. Specifically:

1. Students draw recycling bins or code recycling bins (draw, code letters to form related words, etc.)

2. They use the beebot or become robots themselves. Place the "bins" or real materials (plastic bottles, paper, metal, etc.) in various places on a grid. The beebot or "Robot" starts from a specific position and must use the correct sequence of movements to reach the correct recycling bin or the real materials with commands (e.g. ⬆️ forward, ➡️ right, ⬅️ left, 🔁 turn).

Students create a message with LED lights using Micro:bit. This activity develops basic electronics and coding skills.Students design a simple game in Scratch. For example, a ball reaching the goal by avoiding obstacles. This activity teaches basic programming concepts like loops and conditional statements.Students navigate a maze using directional cards to reach a specific goal. This activity develops basic algorithm and problem-solving skills.
