Celebrate eTwinning Day with Us – Through Coding and Creativity
This May 9th, we are proud to join thousands of schools and educators across Europe in celebrating eTwinning Day—a day dedicated to collaboration, innovation, and unity within the European education community.
To mark this special occasion, we are organizing an exciting and educational Unplugged Coding Event, using creative color-by-code activities inspired by the official eTwinning and EU symbols. These coding sheets, filled with shapes and numbers, guide students to use logic, patterns, and problem-solving to uncover meaningful designs—without even needing a computer!
🧠 Why Unplugged Coding?
Unplugged coding is a fantastic way to introduce students to computational thinking in a fun, hands-on, and inclusive manner. Without relying on screens or devices, students can:
Develop logical reasoning and sequencing skills
Enhance pattern recognition and critical thinking
Build teamwork and communication as they collaborate
Gain early exposure to coding concepts through tangible activities
🌍 A European Alliance in Action
Our event is part of a larger network of activities happening simultaneously in schools across the continent. Through eTwinning, we are united with fellow European learners in a shared mission: to foster cross-cultural understanding, digital competence, and creative learning.
By participating in this event, our students are not only learning to code—they are also becoming part of a larger European learning community, where borders fade and collaboration thrives. Together, we celebrate what it means to be both learners and global citizens.
👫 Many Students, One Goal
From younger pupils to older learners, everyone is welcome to take part! With activities designed to be fun, engaging, and educational, our coding celebration ensures that every student can shine and contribute to this joyful occasion.
Join us as we turn numbers into pictures, logic into laughter, and learning into a celebration of unity and innovation. Let’s make eTwinning Day 2025 a day to remember!
