Holiday paper circuits with EU Code Week
Publication date: December 9, 2019
Did you know that participants of the Code Week Deep Dive MOOC learned how to create their own paper circuits during Module 4 of the online course that focused on robotics, tinkering and making?
Since it is the season of giving, we decided to share this activity with you on the Code Week blog as well! Why not use this paper circuits activity to create a holiday card, a tree, or even a snowman to share with loved ones? (and impress them with your tinkering and making skills!)
Just follow the steps in the activity linked below, and don’t forget to share with us the results by posting on the Code Week Facebook Teachers Group and/or by using the hashtags #CodeWeek and #CodeWeekCreations
Click here to have a look at this activity and, if you want, try to create a paper circuit.
Using the instructions above, use your imagination and create your paper circuit.
This can be anything you can think of: a bike, a car, a ship, a robot, a classroom, the Code Week bubbles, etc. Be creative and draw your object!
Some additional special ideas for the season could include a reindeer (with a shiny nose!) or even an ornament, or twinkling lights or stars.
See some examples of paper circuits below.
If you are interested in learning more activities like these, make sure to check out the Code Week Deep Dive online course and register – it is not too late to complete the modules at your own pace.
