EU Code Week 2015 highlights from Hungary

The ICT Association of Hungary (IVSZ) promoted  and coordinated the Code Week activities, which goals were:

• To reach more students, teachers and parents with coding messages
• Recruit companies to join the week with events, and speakers
• Make programs more colorful and provide useful materials for different coding lessons
• Reach big media hype around EU Code Week

And some results:

• We had 227 events on the EU Code Week map, (9th between EU countries). We had 225 participating schools, 50+ joined companies,  and approx. 10.000 reached students.
• We offered variety of programs and materials, which  were on our local Code Week website: www.ivsz.hu/codeweek
