From your first steps in programming to Neural Networks, all in just 16 challenges! Understand how AI techniques contribute to programming, using Text-to-Speech (TTS), Speech-to-Text (STT), and training your first neural networks to classify text, images, and poses

Students will build and program a Smart Traffic Light System that responds dynamically to traffic conditions. Using Python and a microcontroller (such as Raspberry Pi or Arduino with Python support), students will integrate ultrasonic or IR sensors to detect the presence and volume of "vehicles" (simulated using small toy cars or objects). Based on real-time input, the system will adjust traffic light cycles—extending or shortening green light durations to improve traffic flow efficiency.

Students will design the logic behind traffic control using conditional statements (if-else), timers, loops, and sensor feedback. They’ll explore the fundamentals of automation, smart cities, and how technology can solve real-world transportation problems.

In this universe, maps of different types serve as a backdrop for fun challenges with autonomous vehicles that obey your programs. To win, you will have to interpret each map and program not only the movements, but adapt to the unexpected using sensors for obstacles and natural events such as weather, temperature, and the passage of time.
