Acts to protect the forest!!
Preschool children will participate in a collaborative Bee-Bot activity between two schools, focusing on forest protection actions. This initiative aims to develop algorithmic thinking and programming skills while raising environmental awareness. Using Bee-Bots, digital tools, and creative expression, students will explore key conservation actions such as reforestation, fire prevention, recycling, and wildlife protection.
The activity unfolds in two stages:
- 1st Partner School: Students illustrate a chosen conservation action and upload their artwork to a collaborative Canva presentation.
- 2nd Partner School: Students receive the image, write an English message related to the action, and add it to Canva. They then record an audio message using Blabberize, embedding it into a QR code placed next to the image.
Finally, all contributions will be gathered into a Canva presentation, forming a collaborative interactive game. Through scanning QR codes, students will explore conservation actions while engaging with visual and audio content.
This hands-on activity promotes computational thinking, digital literacy, creativity, and teamwork while fostering an appreciation for forest protection.
The activities will be published in a collaborative padlet, the link of which will be shared with the group members.
