This project is underway with students in grades 6-8 will receive basic programming knowledge using Micro: bits and practicing in their Code.org accounts online. to acquire the skills of "21st Century Schools. "https://studio.code.org/sections/JBKVFV Each week students gather and discuss the progress of project phases. They are organized in groups and are trying to deliver their final product such as: Measuring humidity in school environments and in flower pots. How to protect the environment and take measures to reduce the pollution of nature. Global change is present and learners are undertaking various public awareness initiatives as well as encouraging young people to influence the community. The results of the project will be presented by the participating students.

Butterfly Algorithms
Tue, Jul 4, 2023 9:30 AM

Computational thinking is a problem-solving process that is used in everyday life as well as computer programs. In this lesson, students apply their computational thinking skills to explore the life cycle of a butterfly. They'll create an algorithm, or set of instructions, to model the life cycle of a butterfly. They will write this algorithm using conditionals and then program it on a computer.

Students will:

  • Analyze the life cycle of a butterfly.
  • Develop an algorithm that describes the cycle.
  • Apply conditionals to an algorithm.
  • Finish and test the algorithm of a computer program to demonstrate the life cycle of a butterfly.
